To reinforce the spirit of brotherhood and communal harmony, the social organization ‘Nongor Kishoreganj’ hosted a grand Iftar and Doa Mahfil at the Jol Torongo Restaurant in Alamgir City on Friday, February 27. The event brought together over 150 members, well-wishers, and local dignitaries in a cordial atmosphere dedicated to the values of the holy month of Ramadan.
Founded in 2015, the organization has consistently operated on the principles of discipline, transparency, and mutual respect. During the gathering, Chief Coordinator Engineer Shakil Ahmed Nadvi emphasized that ‘Nongor’ remains a non-political, social entity primarily focused on sports and humanitarian service. He expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the attendees and shared his vision for the organization’s continued growth.
The program, which was successfully coordinated with the support of former Chief Coordinator Noor Ahmed Palash, concluded with a special prayer (munaajat). The participants prayed for the prosperity of the nation, the success of the organization, and the overall well-being of its members. The organizers highlighted that the primary goal of the evening was to spread the message of self-purification and to deepen the bonds of friendship among the youth of Kishoreganj.
