Abu Sayed from Rajbari district took part in the audition of the Bangladesh Professional Sports Commentators Association 2026.
Well-known Bangladeshi commentators Uddin Ahmed, Jamil Rahman, Shamsul Islam, Kamruzzaman, and Ahmed Bin Parvez were present at the audition.
Saeed says he learned many important things from the audition. He believes that a good sports commentator should be a good observer and should have a good knowledge of sports. A commentator also needs to control emotions, speak clearly, make quick decisions, and stay calm and respectful.
He also believes that a good commentator should use standard pronunciation, provide correct information, remain neutral, and work professionally.
According to Saeed, a good commentator should be confident, humble, respectful, neutral, punctual, well-prepared, and willing to learn. They should also be able to accept criticism and learn from their mistakes.
Abu Saeed is regularly seen doing commentary at cricket and football matches in Rajbari. He has a big dream of becoming an international sports commentator.
He says he wants to improve his skills step by step and one day work as a professional international commentator.
