KALUKHALI, RAJBARI: Union Parishad chairman candidate Saidul Islam Shahin has pledged to transform Majbari into a modern, well-governed model union free from crime, drugs, and extortion.
He made the commitment on Saturday, October 17, while addressing an electoral courtyard meeting organized in his support at Koyardi Biswaspara in Majbari Union under Kalukhali Upazila.
Calling for a free, fair, and impartial election, Shahin assured voters of his dedication to public welfare. “If elected by the people, my priority will be establishing law and order by taking strict action against theft, robbery, extortion, and illicit drug operations,” he said. He emphasized that genuine development and good governance can only be achieved through active community involvement.
The courtyard gathering was presided over by local educator Saiful Islam Master. Notable local elder Abul Kashem Molla, along with several prominent community leaders and local residents, addressed the audience, voicing their views and expectations for the upcoming union election.
