The second program of Sujan’s Search for Social Heroes was held at Dorgarchor in Shajadpur, Sirajganj. The program began at around 4:00 PM.

Several selfless individuals were honored at the event for their outstanding contributions to social service. Among them was Mohammad Abu Sayeed Sarker, who was involved in ensuring fair village arbitration, repairing local roads, and helping disadvantaged people without any personal gain.

Another honoree was Mohammad Anwar Hossain. He shared that he never accepted money for village arbitration. Following his father’s advice, he always strived to remain honest. He also took care of several girls from other families and later helped arrange their marriages.

Anowara Begum was also honored at the program. For nearly 20 to 25 years, she has been teaching the Quran free of charge. She also continues to support expectant mothers and assists them during childbirth when needed.

The main objective of Sujan’s Search for Social Heroes is to identify and recognize those silent heroes of society who work selflessly for others but remain largely unknown. Through this initiative, they are encouraged with recognition and gifts. Women received sarees, prayer mats, and tasbihs, while men were given panjabis and caps.

With the cooperation of various individuals and organizations, the program was successfully organized and concluded.
